he says: I am just sick of all the import ***s who rice their cars out and give us real drivers something to laugh at. You guys are a joke. They just invented something, its called torque, you should get some. anyway, got some more vtec riced out POS to clean outta my grill today. later losers!

i said: unfortunately there are some real idiots that call themselves racers who have import cars. i don't have a high powered honda and i don't have a high powered chevy, i don't pretend to. but getting 800whp from a 4cyl. you gotta give some credit. i am not a fan of "rice" like stickers and fart cannons but the real racers are very cool and their cars may not always look pretty but they certainly can slap a silly grin on your face. certainly there is a limit to how much power you can get from a 4 cylinder car but the hp/liter ratio is almost always better for 4cyl motors making them definately more efficient. I wouldnt mind having a v8 in my honda but i like actually being able to drive more than a few days before refueling. i get about 3 weeks worth of driving per tank. and yes... honda does have v8's in planning. honda efficiency + v8 cubic inches may well make your high powered dominance a thing of the past. >>Later>>

Please refrain from comments like that. I could very well say "imports are nice grocery getters but there driver are all little ric bois with fake performance mods" I:E mufflers no exhaust short ram intake etc etc. But as we all know from being in the import scene there are quite a few real racers. In the domestic world there are alot of cool ppl i cruise over at www.ls1.com ALL the time great ppl always willing to help out and there number once ***** and moan isn't imports but ricers in general I:E go over there with a quick domestic and they'll show ya some respect.
But hondaman-iac dont say MOST drivers are assholes cause that is a very very uneducated comment!! Have YOU met MOST of the domestic drivers NO!

Alot of them are very kool ppl they are into the car thing to but instead of takin a 14-16 car to the 13-12 sec range they are lookin to take 13-12 second cars(yes ls1 fbods can get 12.8-12.9's stock rare but has been done a few times) and make there cars run low 12's to high 10's streetable. And dont say it can't be done off the spray with just exhaust,headers(yes they can use the s) cam,gears or tourque converter, lid and slicks they can run in the high 11's now thats is the same amount of cash flow as imports doing i,e,cam gears,clutch,flywheel, and turbo and the import is only seeing 13's maybe 12s with traction. but now you add some nitrous to that ls1 combo and your lookin at very very low 11's if not 10's

Bottom line dont bash other cars we're all in this together just some take a different route to reach there goals Thanks you for reading my rant i know this board will be biased(it being a honda board and all) but i think we are all mature ppl here and can respect different cars. Btw i take no sides in the import versus domestic battle. First car was a firbird 2nd was a Integra next will prolly be another v8! Well im off to take some pics of my sleeping beauty!!!

Ok a the hp/liter thing is a ricer excuse to prove "efficency) the fact of the matter is hondas were never made to go fast. The purpose of hondas was always gas saving grocery getters. But then the tuners came in. Now on the other hand v8s sole purpose has almost alwasy been performance (except for those found in mercedes and caddys' etc etc were it is a status symbol) Now the ppl that own v8's know and accept the gas guzzling I find it a small price to pay for a truley fast car! Also the honda effiency+ v8 Cubic inches will not work out it may have honda reliability but not effiency for the fact the bigger the engine the more weight for engine and car you need to burn more ail and fuel to get the performance so no the effiency will be gone. Also where are you gonna see a v8??? hmmm the nsx yeah thats a 100 grand car. This whole domestic vs import thing is played out. we are all in this for the same thing love for speed and love for cars. we are just taking different paths. plain and simple. Now lets stop all this bs and just get along like car ppl should.

There's a reason=If you talk crap about other cars, you aren't into cars, you don't respect them or really care about them. Cars are cars, domestics or imports, they all have great potential and can be turned into unbelievable cars. This clown that is talking crap about imports has no respect for cars, and is just out to do this to make himself feel better for his own personal reasons. The type of ppl who do this are usually the ones whose parents, girl/boy friends, or relatives buy them their cars, so now they think they are hot sh*t. Well, pay them no attention, and forget about them, because they don't share the same love we do about our cars. If you really love cars and the fun of modding them, you WILL never really talk crap about other ppls cars, because you should realize that they love their cars too. Now, its ok to joke about other ppls cars especially if they are really funny looking, but if you really mean what you say negatively, then thats bs and you should shut up. period. Sorry to be mean, but its gay, lets just all have fun, and enjoy our cars. And any time I see a vette or SS maro drive by, nothing bad has or will ever come out of my mouth. And though I disagree with rice, i still respect the fact that some of them care about their cars and actually think the rice looks good. To each your own.

TT52 i think i say about all the cars being "nice ass cars" doesn't matter if it is honda, or domestic, or european. i like the domestics and i have idea how they drive or what they ca do. i drive at least a Trans Am WS-6 everyday or a hooked up camaro. i even had the old stangs. i don't think you ever heard me making fun of any car
