Ok guys I'm new here and I just got my car like 1 month ago.

Heres my plan for the 98 accord lx Sedan (4dr)

I want to add a Kaminari body kit including the spoiler, Alteeza lights. I'm not so rich so I was thinking of going for looks instead of speed (i dont like racing..to dangerous!) I have a white accord and I already have the wheelz and tinted window.

I do have a question though, If i add the body to my new car, do i have to lower the car to make it look rite? I'm a newbie!! Really!

I did alot of plannin on this so give me suggestion guys, I dont care if its a insult just give me ideas! I already estimated about $2000 is gonna be used for the exterior, gonna work in the interior later.;)

Yeah, you'll need a drop with a kit, but not too much of one or you'll scrape like crazy. Try Eibach pro-kits for around a 1.5" drop. Since you're doing looks, the stock exhaust will look pretty bad with a kit, so plan on changing that out too.

neuspeed sport springs part #55.20.31 lowers 1.8 front 1.7 rear.
not really low enough to require new shocks but you might want to just to be sure. if you decide to get some try the koni sports you might not need the adjustables since you don't plan on racing.

A tip...they dont look good. Save the money and get a something else. Please dont get those gay lights that attach to your windshield sprayers. i saw a 1 ton ford with them and then like ten minutes later i saw a full size van with them. i don't like em either, but if you have to have them at least match up the colors right. please? don't put red lights on a green car, or white lights on a red car.

but, figure out what you want on the car and do it your style like anything else. best thing about this scene is the car can be anything you want. good luck

Hi I also own a 98 Accord LX sedan. This year I am planning to go moslty for the looks of the car rather then the speed. I am planning on getting the Buddy Club bodykit and many other things.

well first of all welcome! :wave:

secondly, i agree, don't listen to what people say. some people will give u a lot of slack for wanting to modify for looks more than for speed. i personally love both aspects, but am going more for show. i don't really like altezza's just cause they're played out, imo. but then again, i'm gettin air cylinders, and not many people like those, so i definately have a "to each his/her own" attitude. good luck with your accord! ;)

I would recommend that you lower your car when you put a body kit on. Don't lower it too much because you don't want to scratch your kit. Also you should get an exhaust...

If you're looking for tails, go with something sleek, like the red/clears. They differentiate from stock and still leave you with that clean look. Most altezzas don't look too great on 6th gen accords.

Ive seen the half red half white tail lights for the accord but I forgot where I saw them..can someone help me find it.. Thanks....Stock tailight for the accord looks kinda good but if it has to come down to that..then it will..doesnt look that bad
