engine swap for civic

i have a 95 Civic LX AT 4D and I wanna swap the engine w/ a 92-95 Vtec engine (wat is the engine code for that?) does anyone knows clearly how much it would cost? and it there anywayz to buy one for cheap price??? Anyone suggestion whether I should swap the engine stated above or wat engine would be best for my car???

depends what you want from your car.
a lot faster? a tiny bit faster?
the hybrid forum is a great place, they have stickys with links to tons of info and engine codes. quite fantastic if you ask me.
