sorry if there has allready been a post on this topic, d*mned if i could find it. here's the deal....
i'm trying to run wires into my drivers door to hook up an aftermarket alarm system to my power locks (92 LX)
i'm stumped at how to get the door panel off and i don't think i can run the wires unless i do this
i think i'm close but i don't want to break anything

so if anyone has done this and knows how, or knows of a good DIY i'd love it.....

thanks
Sean

unscrew the door handle, unscrew anything from the door armrest, unscrew the speaker, unscrew any screws around the speaker area, look for screws under the door......pry stupid little caps off, yank the panel off. that should do it. :D

i pretty much figured this is how it was done
i'm just a bit nervous about the prying off of stupid little white caps. i agree that those things suck because i always seem to break them and then they don't go back on very well

oh well..... here's to nothing

If your worried about breaking them then go to a junk yard and take a whole bunch and if you break yours...use your leftovers

after you remove the screws for the doot handle and the cup portion to hold on to just start at the very bottom and pul out a little and look up to see where the pops are...Oce you do put your hands on each side and pull outwards..that should pop them w/out messing them up.

and if nothing else as stated go to the junkyard and pick up a coupl e extras..

so let's say i break a piece and go to the junkyard to find out that i can't find a replacement.... is there anywhere you can order these, like a dealer or something?
a dealer would probably charge me 20 for them, F***in dealers!

Yeah dealers are a rip off...but they do have them at least
