Popping the hood

Does anyone now if it's possible to pop the hood of a 97 4dr Civic from the outside? And if so how? Thank you in advance for any help.

there's a cable that you can pull from the outside to pop the hood...thieves sometimes do this to disable the alarm..hope that works

thanks for the help...Where exactly is the cable, I was just checking over my car and I can't seem to locate it....sorry to be a bother like this.

Y would you want to do it anyway? You have the control in the inside.
