I was just wondering if the 98 to current Accord V6's have true dual exhuast or is really only one with two pipes coming out the back. If anybody knows please post a reply.

true dual exhaust is taken right at the headers...
if the headers split to two pipes with seperate mufflers then it is most definately dual.
if not. its not.

actually the v6 accords have a "Y" pipe toward the rear of the car.

So does that mean the V6 Accord has 1 pipe coming out of the engine and it becomes 2 pipes? So you're sayin it doesn't have true dual exhaust right?

yep. if i remeber well the y pipe is very close to the rear bumper, but i do not put my hand on fire for it.

they wouldnt put a true dual exhaust on any engine smaller then a 3.8l. something to do with backpressure and flow dynamic or something like that. maybe i should lokk into my thermodynamics textbook.....hmmmmm. brb
