Was browsing the local auto trader magazine when I stumbled on this 98 4dr DX sedan w/ 83,000 miles. Yes it has a lot of miles, but do you think I could buy, tune it up and sell it for more then the asking price? KBB says it retails for like 7k, that's a wee bit high, figuring their are EXs in here for that with 70,000... but even 4500 for it would give me a 1500 dollar profit. I'm looking to buy a 95 EX coupe to work on, but still need money. See this as a steal. What do you think. Scanned the ad, link here:

surely theres something wrong with it... people don't sacrifice 4,000 on a 7,000 car.

but if your going to fix it up rice style you may end up replacing the bad parts neways.

yea.. Welcome to HS

I wouldn't buy it and try to turn around and sell it... automotive market is not a good place for that...

Make sure the bottom of the add doesn't have small print... "prices after $2000 trade in or down Payment" i fell for that one and drove 50 mins to see a car I thought was a steal
