I pretty sure i know what your talkin about because i'm planning on doing the same thing to my white 94 accord 4 door, The middle black thingy should come off if you use a heat gun of somesort(this what i've been told, haven't tried it yet though) and the bottom side skirts have alot of screws or bolts on the underside that will need to be taken out. If u figure out a different way, tell me.

why don't you mask the car ? i did it for my side skirts thou, but i did not mask enough and on some spots i can see the silver paint on green car ( only 1 spot with a small amount of paint).

side black thingy's = side panel molding (official honda terminology)

or side panel cladding if you have a oddessey, passport, pilot, or crv.

If you're trying to match you car's paint you'll have a tough time. Your paint is about 8 years old. So it'll be tough to buy something off the shelf that will match it. Your best bet is to take teh parts off and have a shop match it for you.

i'll probably end up repainting the whole car...so matching won't be a problem

go to home depot or lowes and get some white paint chips (samples) and match em up to your car, see which matches best. then go to an auto store or somewhere that will mix paint and put it in a spray can for you....then there ya go.

I was just thinking of pulling up next to an EX in a parking lot with a few tools....10 minutes later, I've got body-colored skirts, and he/she will have black ones. :bandit:

Alternatively, anybody know of a good paint shop in the Austin, TX area?

i would just go to a paint shop and have them do it for around 200 for all of them including the handles.my .02

not worth $200 when it can be done yourself for at most $50 if you get color matched paint put in spray cans. do it yourself with spray paint off the shelf and it'll cost you about $15 incl paint and sandpaper.
but i guess if you arent good at painting, then yes, a professional would be your best bet. i paint crap all the time so, thats the route id take.

Yeah I think the best thing to do would be to mask the shit off and do it yoruself....even if you do kinda make a mistake and overspray...your going white on white dude..you'll never notice..plus you said your getting the whole car re-painted anyway...so why not.
