steering wheel

My steering wheel seems to be a little loose, I was wondering if it is something I can fix myself, or if I need to take it to a shop. Thanks.

first off all what year is the accord ? what do u mean by loose ? do u have a lot of play when turning it ? doers it feel like it will come out or what ? we need more info.

The car is a 96 Accord LX, I just have a lot of play, I can turn it a little and the car does not turn at all. In order to turn the car I have to turn the wheel a lot more than is normal.
