I have a few questions about a Prelude. I am planning on purchasing it. I was wondering a couple things. The motor is a 1.8l Dual Carb, and its a '84 , Now, its got 230k on it and it will need a timing belt. Is the water pump driven by the timing belt on this car? and you know any info about the carbs? As far as being electronically controled or if it has a electric fuel pump and if its in tank? Also it needs a pan gasket anyone know what it take to get the pan out? I have to say that that i am very impressed with Honda and the quality.

heh, those are miles, not km. i dunno, its hard to say with high miles, cause if they are nice miles you shouldnt have a problem, biut if theywere abused your screwed. and thres no way of really telling if the car runs perfect.

Its been easy miles, Freeway and owned by 1 lady. All dealer serviced and the condition is pretty impressive. Its doesn't use any oil and the compression good. But, its had work done, to all of the systems, accessories and cooling system replaced. Clutch, Tires and Brakes are new so for 1,500 i think its a pretty good buy. But does is the water pump driven by the timing belt on this motor?
