just thought if anyone was paying attention to all the scandals, and media attention that Russia got about how they are treated with the least amount of respect and get least attention, etc. etc....

i thought it was very stupid thing to do was to say that the Russian committee was going to pull Team Russia (all the Olympians) out of the Olympics and will not attend Athens for the next Olympics. IMO, every country is treated the same, no favouritism by the IOC, and Olympics is somethign that where the whole world joins together for about 2 weeks and participate in. not to be all negative and say your not goin to participate.

can't remember what else to say....but that's the main gist of it...

I agree. Ideally, no money would come in to play, no judges would be swayed, etc., but stuff like that seems like it is going to be a problem. It figures that even the olympics have to be tainted in this way.

Well the thing that happened with the Canadian skaters pissed Russia off. Truly this is a "Whoever I think skates better I will vote for"
I really don't think that there should have been another medal given out. How could there be 2 gold medals? I'm born in Russian. But live in Canada since 92 so I'm all GO CANADA!
Plus that judge changed her story around like 5 times.

Yeah that Judge couldn't even keep her story straight.
