what do you girls do when you want to loose weight? I have begun to diet and exercize but am not getting results, what do some of you do?

Hey girlie.....I know exactly what your talking about...so......I know its kinda bad for you......but what I did to give me a jump start was take Xenidrene....you can find it at any heath store like GNC. You start the first week taking 1 pill in the morning, and 1 before lunch. The second week, you take 2 in the morning and 2 at lunch, then when your ready to go off you just go back to 1, 2 times a day. It gives me mucho energy and curbs lots of cravings.....I have been taking it for about 3 weeks now and have not only lost 5lbs, but I'm feeling alot better about myself. I'm hoping by swimsuit weather I should be were I want to be. Just don't forget about the exersize.....try cardio(like running, aerobics) 3 times a week, then strength training the other 2 days. Well I wish you lots of luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks so much for the great advice! I did start working out about 2 weeks ago, and changed my diet but I think that I need a little bit more, I will try that Xenidrene, I hope it will help, I only want to loose 10-15 Lbs, to get back into my swim suite, thanks SO MUCH!:) :yes:

No prob. babe anytime.......thats pretty much my goal.....about 10lbs......3 down.....well whose counting.......lol......its good to know im not the only one having a war with winter wieght.....i hate it i always gain like 5-10lbs every stinkin year....crazy i tell ya.......working in a mall with a monster food court doesnt help either........whenever i get hungry i go bathing suit shopping......that gets me going to eat healthier.....well talk to ya soon......Take Care!

ya know what you should do that will burn up calories since it can be done many times a day for lengthy periods of time, give your man some sex, and if you ain't got a man, i guess i could help you out. Don't let him do any work, you just work that shit, the weight will be just droppin right off you. :rolleyes: :D :crazy:

Yeah those pills such as Xenidrene and Stacker may give you energy but its only because of the tremendous amounts of caffeine in them. Those "diet pills" contain products that can cause ulcers, blood clots, bleeding in the brain, nose bleeds among many other things. They do however curve your appetite and along with exercise you will lose weight quickly but either your body can become immune to them or when u have reached your desired weight and you stop taking them your weight will go right back to the way it was. Usually in those cases you end up gaining more weight than you had lost. So basically just be careful, if you think you need them a little to see a little weight loss to motivate you to do it the proper way; eating healthy & exercising then do it. But if they are going to be your means of losing weight you are doing your body more damage than you are helping it.

I take red M&M's to get me back down to bikini size b4 summer...it seems to work really well and i dont even gotta excersize...i just have a beer and watch some tv and let the M&M's do all the work for me :)

try running like crazy. i lost almost 50 lbs in 2 mos and i never got it back. i did not want to lose weight but with my job i gotaa do a lot of running. any ideas how to gain weight

P.S. This was posted as a guy pretending to be a guy ;) (you would understand if u read the other posts in the F&FF)

If you want to try running to lose weight, but you need motivation to run, try going to street races and running from the cops!!! Not only good excercise, but an adrenaline rush too! lol......I wouldn't recommend that of course, unless you don't fear getting tickets!
I heard Red Bull and stuff like that speeds up your metabolism, which might help a little. Play soccer, that's a good work out too!:yes: I don't know if you have Jamba Juice or a juice bar in your area, but those are pretty filling and tasty and help you lose weight.

Now for some Chili Cheese Burgers (heart attack on a bun) and some apple pie to top it off!!!!

Try swimming. Swimming works about 200x better than running.

I'm not a female but I think I can help. Xenadrine is great but start with half the recommended dosage. Two weeks excersing isn't really enough time for the body to change. Keep up the hard work and you will see results. The figure will start to harden up and you will notice results, as will everyone around you. My friend (female) started working out recently (2 months ago) and I can already notice results. She looks damn good. Something about a girl who works out. It shows they really care about their body. I love it.

well I am happy to report that after 3 weeks of religously working out 3 to 4 days a week, I have lost 5 lbs! My clothes are fitting better and I feel great! Now I only have 5lbs to get to my desired weight of 110! Thanks for all the support and great Ideas guys and gilrs! MUAH!!!!:kiss:

110?! I thought you were much heavier and trying to lose some weight.........120 or even 110 isn't all that bad. I guess it just depends on how tall you are. I have a chick friend who is 118 but she is pretty tall, like 5'11" and so she looks rail thin. Oh well, keep at it and good job so far!:yes:

well I am only 5'2" so 105 - 120 is actually the average weight that i should be, What I am really looking to do is replace some of that fat with muscle! So that when we go street racing I can out run the cops! HEHE!!:D:bandit:

Thats what I am sayin' I mean come on get real, if you are not building muscle than either A: You are not doing the exercizes right. Or B: you need to add more weight and Reps. It really isn't that hard, if you want it bad enough you will do it right, not take the easy way out. :rolleyes: Like me , I have been working out for 2 months now and I can see a little bit of difference, but I also know that to achive the body I want I have to work hard and be consistant.:yes:

You don't need any of those suplements they actually are bad for you and creatine is the most stupidest thing you could take my kidneys almost shut down taking that stuff and no I wasn't takin to much:rolleyes: the best thing you can do to boost your metabolism and build muscle faster is reverse your diet. Eat dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner and instead of eating 2 or 3 bigger meals eat 5 or 6 smaller ones, you'll be suprised at the results you will see by just eating like this let alone having an excersize routine to go along with. You do all this you'll have a killer bod and nothing in your system that can become toxic. Don't take any suplements at all not even protein shakes or powders, most likely your already have more than enough protein in your diet as it is so you can go waste your money on all that crap out here and think your seeing results from them but in all reality your most likely not, for example if you have ever smoked or are use to drinking anything with caffeine in it such as coffee what happens when you go a day without it? Your body starts to fein for it, if your a smoker quit for a day then smoke a cigarette and what will happen? Your body will feel the effects more and it will result in you becomeing lightheaded, etc. Same with caffeine you will feel the effects more when not having it for a long time when your use to having it then suddenly having it again. The point is that these same examples apply with nutrients such as protein go ahead and O.D. on protein your not doing nothing but hurting your kidneys and the protein isn't even being used in the rite way by your own body if you keep your body takin the minimal protein amount that is rite for you then your body will want it more and when it gets the protein it will actually break it down and use all of it, effeciently, and effectively. Just stick with the Food Pyramid and a natural diet and you will be fine, and I mean fine ;)

I have to take an multi-vitamin w/ gensing, because I have a serious problem with fatigue because of the medication I take for seizures, that is the only reason I will take anything.

I usually drink alot of pineapple juice.. it has alot of citric acid in it which breaks down fat.. alot of the fat in your body is burned by citric acid.. so keep that in mind and 1 time i tried drinking 1/4 cup of vinegar before everything i eat.. its works wicked good.

i used to do that too and now i have tiny holes in the lining of my stomach because of all that acid.. it can even burn your throat after time, nothing is fool proof other than doing it the healthy way with diet and exercise.unless you like chancing a heart attack with those diet pills and miracle metabolizer pills ...personally im not willing to do that to myself anymore.

i'm on the subway diet...it worked for jared! ;) no seriously i just try to stay away from too much junk food, i tend to eat a lot of subway, salads and grilled chicken. plus i do teabo almost everday. and i only recently started running, but dang i hate running. this is what i do and it actually does work. it's not anything super hard to stay on. no diet pills or super hollywood diet junk...just eat healthier and exercize regularly. :)

I was like a Pepsi addict when i switched to diet pop i lost alot of wieght so if u drink alot of 'sugar pop' you might wanna stop, its bad for you, hehe.And exercise of course!:)

well actually I gave up soda almost completely, I only have a sprite when we go out for dinner. And i have been doing cardio 3 times a week and weight training 3~4 times a week, and it is helping. I have lost about 1/2" on my waist and gained a full inch on my calves. slowly but surley I say... ;)

I cant take diet pills like xenidrine because I have a heart murmur, so I do yoga. a lot of people don't consider it exercise because it's not cardio, but I have lost 30lbs in the last 8mos. and I eat whatever I want.

i myself need to loose about 8 lbs or so cuz goddamn.. i went to try on bikini's and i almost had a heart attack.. im like O hell no! there has to be something wrong with this mirror or some shi* I got so PO'd i decided i didnt like that store anymore.. and left. Im not going bathing suit shoppin again.. until im like about 9 lbs lighter.

I know how you feel, that was how I felt before I started exercizing. just join a gym close to work or home, go for 1 hour 3 times a week after about 6weeks you will begin to see a difference. I have been doing it for 3months now and I am back into a size 3. it will pay off, every little bit of exercize you do.;)

size 3?! whoa... i've never been a size 3. i guess i'm a fat cow compared to u all! :pukey i don't worry about it, i'm comfortable and happy to be a size 9 considering at one point i was up to size 14.

Actually the average size for women is about a size 12. So actually we're all skinnys if you look at it that way. ;) Yah when I first lost my 20 lbs when I was a sr in hs I did it the wrong way. I have kept it off now by eating healthier foods and not as big of portions. I acutally think my stomach has gotten smaller or something because I can't eat nearly as much as I used to be able to. I just wish I had more time and energy to exercise on a daily basis. Drinking the at least 8 glasses of water a day really does help you loose weight too. It might sound weird cuz I always thought that drinkin that much H2O would make you bloated...but trust me you pee it right out!!! Also drinking that much actual H2O helps cleanse your body of bad toxins and what not. Oh and I completely agree on the bathing suit situation. I also decided that I'm not wearing shorts this year. I work in retail...and some of the shorts we sell should be back in my dept...INTIMATES!!! Dude we sell panties that cover more than 95% of the shorts we sell...So my fat thighs will NOT be in those shorts this yr.

I think that the truest (also the funniest ) thing that I have read in a health magazine was: drink lots of water, because the more time you spend in the bathroom, the less time you will be in the kitchen! LMAO!!:yes: :D

Totally NOT true! That statement is true for both water and food. When you don't eat or drink enough each day your body gos into a paniac mode and holds on to everything it gets. The more water you drink, sends your body the message that more is coming, so it uses what it needs and disposes of the rest. So it is very very important that you get at least 64 ounces of water a day, make it a little cooler than room temp (it's easier to drink and more satisfying) Same is true with food, if you want to lose weight you have to let your body know that it will be getting food.. NO BINGES! Eating every 3-4 hours, between your major meals is key. Snack on some veggies or a few crackers or something, but its needed and surprisingly adding this to your diet will help you lose weight

ya i've heard the same thing, FeelMyRide... but it's so hard to find healthy snacks to eat between meals. it's so much easier to buy some potato chips!! but seriously i've been trying to snack on granola or fruit or something like that.

yah actually most of the time you feel "hungry" your body is actually in dehydration mode. Unless of course you are drinkin all that water and still feel hungry then you just are. but most people can just go and drink some water to hold themselves over until it's meal time. And pretzels are good snacks...same with trail mix.
