That looks unreal, how did you do that, what kind of material is it,

and how do you mold the carpet arount the template?

BrandonClaps

i used credit cards to smooth everything out cause if you use your fingers on headliner material u will leave marks. i used 3m Super 77 from sears for the glue. The material is headliner material at joanne fabrics, and the design is closed cell foam i got that from eastern mountain sports actually ;]

yep its stiff... a solid head liner. ie no cloth.
stock headliner in the 90 ex. its nice though cause it will never droop like my mom's 88lx.

I used closed cell foam, how to, it's very simple, rip off old one, sand off the old squishy foam, put th desgin in fom and glue it then recover it. cant' really make a good how to on it

how exactly did you do that?

BrandonClaps
03-13-2002, 08:28 PM
lol just ripped off the old one sanded off the little foam connected to the fabric, got some closed cell foam made my design glued it to the headliner fiberglass covered it with new headliner material and used credit cards to push it into place. don't use your fingers as it leaves marks for some reason.

for his i used 3m Super 77, but i recommend using the glue that can be sprayed out of a air spray gun
