I think my pads are in need of changing. So I figure while I'm at it, why not upgrade the brakes? Why would I want a four piston setup (like the AEM for example) versus just replacing the stock discs with cross drilled? Any suggestions on kits or discs? What about pads? I was just going to get the OEM pads since I know they won't be too rough on the discs. Any suggestions?

Any light that you guys can shed is appreciated.

I would just go with the stock pads. You sound like you are a drag racer so heres my insite. I have been racing my car for nearly 2 years now with well over 100 passes at nearly 130 mph and the original pads are still on the car and work great. They dont even appear to be worn at all. So id stick with the stock pads.

Well after seeing how HUGE the rotors are, I think I'll stick with my OEM pads.

The only reason I think something is up is that is makes a light grinding noise. Its real faint. Ahh well...one of these days I'll jack it up and look.

I think AEM big brake upgrade is a cool mod to get. It will make stop sooner but most importantly IT LOOKS way too cool. WIth them big rotors. so i say if you can afford it go ahead and get them big brage upgrades. I mean if i had the money i would. But 1000 is a lil steep for me right now....

Yeah they definately look cool. I couldn't believe how big they were when I saw them in person. The pictures on their site don't make them out to be that big.
