Has anyone done this? Is this a direct bolt on? Any modifications needed?

well my guess....i dont know.
but since they are both transmissions from the B series engine, it should be a straight swap.

That's what I think but someone told me it required some modifications. I just want to be sure is a direct bolt on.

ok ive gotten clarification from different sources and they said it swaps right in w/ no modification.
"b16 tranny is the same as itr tranny, just different F.D. , lsd, and 1st gear"

How much can you typically get an ITR tranny for?

about $1200 and up. unless you can get a real good deal.
