fuel pump stopped working?

yesterday my fuel pump was working and today it's not at all...can't hear it click of anything? Any ideas? or is it just fuct?

Mine does something similar but I can hear the clicks but not the pump working. This happens every now and then. I'm almost sure is the pump but since this is intermitent I have not been able to check for voltage on the pump. I'm thinking about throwing a line to the positive terminal on the pump and hooking the voltmeter so when it happens I can be sure of my diagnostic.
If there is voltage and the pump doesn't work it is the pump if I have no voltage then something else is wrong as an example the main relay.
