Seems like an excellent marketing strategy for either company or an excellent opportunity for those two idiots.

the mythbusters had an episode and they found out exactly what parts of the mentos and diet coke caused this chemical reaction. They also tried to set a world record for a spray. they hit something close to 40 feet of dietcoke spray lol

The first time I watched the 2nd one my speakers were pretty high...scared the shit out of me then I turned it down and watched it again and laughed.
