Hey, I wanted to replace the stock H1 bulbs in my recently installed projector headlights. Does anyone know what are the brightest bulbs you can buy besides an HID kit?. I heard the pia extreme white are really bright but supposedly they only last for about a year. Has anyone used these pias and if so how's they work out? .... and does anyone know of any other types of bulbs that are super bright like HID's?

I've been using Sylvania SilverStar halogens lately. They're pretty bright, and yeah, they only last about a year too... ;)

My friend had the PIAA's and they lasted way longer then a year.
The sylvania's are great.

How do the sylania's compare to the pia extreme white? I was told the pia extreme white are the brightest bulbs you can get except for HID's....do you guys agree?

Maybe I didn't state it strongly enough, but I've already given you my recommendation...
Try the PIA's and let 'us' know what YOU think! :)

the "osram" silverstars are allegedly MUCH brighter and better than the sylvania silverstars.
I got some JDM lightbulbs becuase I needed h4h's and they were expensive as all hell but they were also SUPER bright... can't remember the name... I got them on passwordjdm or one of those sites.
