Last week I pulled off 30 mpg. I shifted at 3k and cruised at about 2k. I take the back roads to work every day so I can keep my speed down to save gas. I don't think I could pull that fuel mileage off if I were to drive on the interstate. I have to stay at about 40mph. I started doing this the first time it cost me $40 to fill up, I figured it would be in my best interest.

I guess thats good depending on what you're driving.
If you're driving a Civic or another eco box you should be doing much better then 30mpg.

I average about 24-25 in my 6. V6 3.0L. The Envoy get 19 on the highway and 13-15 around town. The Honda gets 0 MPG so far...;)
