me and few of my friends. may be 6 to 9 people. were drinking in my apartment last night to celebrate me getting excepted for college. we were semi loud but not loud enough to disrupt anyone sleep. this bitch from accross the hall who i hope dies, calls the cops becuase we were too loud. funny thing is the TV wasnt one, no music was being played and i doubt she heard us. but sence my friend was out on the balcony being semi loud. she claimed her 7yr old couldnt sleep.
that understandable. but why cant people have the fucking decenty to just knock and ask us to be quite? this is the second time she has just called the cops. no warning or nothing. i see her and say hi and talk to her almost everyday she knows im a nice guy. wtf. stupid whore see if im nice now.
i got a 100$$ reffer and a 2 class session where i got to sit in a room with AA people. fuck that.
its a civil case right? not a underage drinking thing sence im not in school (yet) right? so what will happen if i dont go? a warrent for not attending a AA meeting?

Wow, that lady isn't too kind for doing that, she definately should have knocked and asked you to be quiet first. Do what I always do when I move into a new place; go out of your way to meet all your neighbors, tell them you enjoy having company over but want to respect them and give them your phone # so if you get too loud they can just call you and ask you to be quiet. This shows respect, keeps your neighbors happy and keeps the cops out of the equation. Works well.
ps- congrats on being "excepted" into college, better work on that spelling. ;)

I would see if the fine could get waved and see if you could drop the classes. Did the cops physcally show up at your door? Did you speak to the cops?

I have gotten into several situations like that. No ticket tho. I dont know what policies you guys have there. Cops cannot give us a ticket in our complex for stupid shit like that unless the incident occured outside the apartment complex property...... Had something to do with "Private Community".
People like that pisses me off. There was an old couple who lived in my building. I used to help them bring their groceries up and take their trash out from time to time. I even used to park their van closer to our building since they couldnt park their, in between cars.
Now, my garage is detached, but faces the building, with a road/parking lot in between the building and the garage. Cops were dispatched to my location one night (8 PM) when I started my car while it was on a jack stand..... open downpipe, no bumper, front tires not installed. I agree that it was loud but I was not revving it. It was just taking more than 5 cranks to get the motor to stay running (troubleshooting at the time).
After a few minutes, I turned the car off and lit a cigarette. Then a cop showed up and parked in front of my garage to block me. The cop talked to me. He was not an ashole of anything. He said that a call was received saying that I was racing up and down the street. I was in disbelief! I said to the cop that it was not possible...... while pointing to the jackstand that was holding my car up and the wheelless left and right hubs. The old lady came out to the balcony to see how the situation unfolds. The cop left. He told me to keep the noise down if I intend to keep working on the car.
The next day I went to see the landlord (Staff). One of them is actually a good friend of mine. He told me who called the cops. I never onced offered any help to those old people again....

Man...that sucks. I used to think I had shitty neighbors. Haha. About 8 years ago when I did my first engine swap (dropped a 302 into my brother's '77 Maverick), we finally got the thing to run at around 11pm and it was LOUD. The thing didn't even have headers. No cops. A few years later I swapped a cam into my old motor for the first time. It was around 8-9pm when I finished up, but if you've never broken in a flat tappet cam, you have to run the engine around 2000rpm for about 20 minutes. Keep in mind that my car was obnoxiously loud at the time...Flowmaster single chamber mufflers. Still no cops. So in hindsight, maybe I shouldn't hate my neighbors so much.:D

If this is your biggest problem in life, life is good.
I've actually told a table that when I was serving them. Just a bunch of dickheads who you coudln't please, and they weren't happy that the soup and coffee and food wasn't HOT enough. I had to get EVERYTHING rewarmed. And at the end of the meal I asked "So everything was ok then tonight" They replied "well other then the meals not being hot enough then yeah I guess so" and I replied "Well your meals were hot, just not hot enough right" they said "yes" I said "if that's your biggest concern in life, you live pretty good. Just be glad that you have food on your plate" They complained and didn't tip. But. I didn't want it anyway, and my boss laughed.
