Well i had been keeping you guys in the dark about this, until now. But here it is, my new JDM B16A SiR 2 (92-95 civic). The motor looks like trash in the pic (took with phone, i was too excited to run upstairs and find my digi), but it's really the valve cover that looks like ass (little paint will fix that).

The valve train looks awesome, no real sludge build up. So far i've got the exhaust and intake manifolds off, a/c and p/s off, and took the harness off. It also has an LSD tranny. Got it all from JDM Enging Depot. Very impressed with the service. Stay tuned

indeed.

only the cover looks like trash though. The valve train looks basically new and it's just got a lot of gunk in the intake manifold and TB. Easily cleanable. Plus i'll have the head cleaned, and the new pistons, rods and hot tanking will leave me with a new shortblock :cool:

Title says Project Hi Boost yet I see no boost providing products? I've been MISLED!!!

Clean that thing up! So what are the plans for boost?

he has a Boost D series motor. just getting a new mani and bam Boosted B16.

looks good, what you pay for shipping? or was it free?

HAD a boosted D-series. Had to return to stock for emissions and i never re-turbo'd because of a weak clutch and poor valve seals. However this will be going in NA so i can break it in and get used to it while i save up for different turbo components.

how do you know you have bad valve seals??

my cousin did a full throttle shift from 3rd gear into 2nd and the motor spun up to 9161 RPM ;(

and it smokes a little on downshift. So i guess it's an educated guess...
