Friends suck...I didnt get to go out (didnt want to go out by myself)
So I put a little more of my engine together instead. (Threw in the pistons and rods.)

Theyre Wiseco flat tops.
I notice a lot of people take pics of their piston domes from the side of the block...I did the same :pfft:

Tomorrow Im tq'ing it all down, and then putting the crower springs and retainers on the head and bolting that on too.

Awesome man. Sometimes it's more fun doing that shit then going out i find. When I was going my swap I ditched out on a few "fun" nights, but i'm sure i had more fun in my garage anyway?

just kind of a sense of pride when you sit back after you're done the night and see what you accomplished, instead of going out drinking and not accomplishing anything

I dont know...drinking can sometimes accomplish a LOT :D

Yeah, I felt lazy today and didnt work on it anymore. I need a damn 1/2" 12pt socket for the ARP headstuds. Gah, why cant it be metric?? Stupid America

Put the arp head studs in today, didnt make it to the parts store to rent a valve spring compressor...maybe tomorrow.
(yeah, i know the washers dont go there, i just didnt want to misplace them)

I want to finish this up quick...might just have to put it in w/o the 403s

...hmm I should paint those brackets and get a new coolant plug...

Yeah, youre right
I did end up painting the p/s bracket though, came out alright.

I might just end up sanding the plug and painting it anyway though...I just hate how it looks - new and fresh inside, shat outside?? Meh...
