watching that video just makes me want to hate cops even more, and how uneducated they really are, "and the ignition is obviously illegal" that thing is so emissions friendly it helps reduce emissions, that thing could have every bolt on in the world and it still uses less gas then a camaro

Man, we just had a major bust here 2 weeks ago. 79 tickets handed out, even passengers received at lease 1 citation, 7 cars impounded and unretrievable, 7 people arrested, some are people I used to hang out with. 17 cop cars blocked the parking lot and highway. Good thing I didnt go out that evening.
Sometimes, I'm really thankful that I drive a normal truck on daily. I'm even thankful that at times my car is not running. If I loose my Teg, that is 20g's down the drain. It even crossed my mind to just have my Teg for "race" track use only.... but I really cant stand the 1/4 mile.
The reason some of those modifications are illegal is due to alteration of the "stock" A/F ratio. I cant remember exactly how it was written in black and white. The breather emits possible exhaust gas. Any exhausted gases vapor or fumes must pass though a catalytic converter to retain its legality. Adjustable cam gears serves the same purpose. It could alter the timing and culd possible (more likely) modify the A/F via timing side. Even if the products are certified to be street legal, the cops can still have the "reason to believe" b.s. You might win in the court but you'll be suprised how many people will just either prepay (if applicable) or just go ahead deal with the judge. The truth is, even if you win the case, you still lost something via an uneasy feeling in the court or some hassle just by making the court date. Furthermore, regardless if you win or lose, some states still requires a court fee. You still lose............

Makes me glad I don't live in an emissions area. I'd be so fucking busted.
Officer: "What's that large thing routed into the intake?"
Me: "Uhhhhh...smog pump?"

You know...now that I think about it, all you need are the CARB exemption stickers. Just show the cop that the stuff is CARB exempt and tell him what to do with his citations. Most of the stuff he pointed out is legal to have in 50 states so long as you have the sticker to prove it.
And since when is having an aftermarket muffler "sufficient grounds" to impoud a car? If that's the case I've been driving on borrowed time for the last 7 years. I remember once I got pulled over for having "excessively loud exhaust". That was all fine and good...until I reminded the cop that my city had no such ordinance.

holy shit! So cops do pull over loud muscle cars too?! Over here, cops dont even use radar detector... they use their ricer detector.... we get shit on all the time....

i watched the first minute or so, then realized what a total waste of time/ money this b.s. is and closed it.
they need to make a video on how to recognize people who drive too damn slow and cause accidents.

I second that. If I can get a ticket for driving 5mph over the limit (I never have, but hypothetically) then some asshole going 5 under the limit should gety one, too. The last time I went home I got stuck behind someone in a no passing zone doing 45 in a 65. People coming up behind me were slamming on their brakes...clearly not safe.
While I'm thinking about it, ticket people who bicycle in the street when there's a perfectly good sidewalk. I'm sick of driving around them...especially when the traffic gets heavy. I don't care if they obey all the traffic laws...if they get hit it's their fault. My 4,400lb truck has the right of way over your 175lb dumb ass.

Then what the hell is the point of the sidewalk? Cities no doubt spend big money on constructing sidewalks...so what's the use if people can't use them?
