Dude...time heals all wounds. But it's going to take a lot of it. Just think. Get your education. And then you can buy another one. And make it twice the car of that one.

I suck around

Whoa...wait...what? Really? Careful you don't get Hep C.:D:D Typos are fun sometimes.

Hey Kyle...I never had a Honda and I stuck around. To me message boards have little to do with cars and more to do with community.

I hope so man. Who knows...they might even make you a mod.:D

I don't even wanna think about how I'd feel if I sold my Mustang. It was my first car and it's seen me through 8 years of bullshit. It was the very first car I even went to look at. As soon as I saw I knew I wanted it. I can't imagine letting it go.

I felt the same way when i totalled my car. It was actually better after I got over it and realized it was just a car.

Holy motor batman, i never realized how big the H is. Looks clean enough to eat off. Although that sucks. I think i'd need counceling if i lost my car in any way.

i don't think my engine bay has ever been that clean, nor will it ever be

Wren57

my engine bay is hideous... no engine cover, battery cover missing (stereo wires showing), aftermarket intake manifold designed for function>form, dust everywhere, etc... I don't plan on popping my hood anytime soon. ;)

yeah i know..there are alot of people who never got to ride in it or see it..oh well....the engine bay was really easy to get that clean. I went to the local auto store and picked up some engine degreaser stuff and some shiner stuff..you just spray the degreaser on and let it sit for 15 mins....and rinse it off with a gentle spray (make sure distributer, air intake, starter, alternator and wiring is covered with rags or whatever)....then spray on the shiny stuff and let it soak for 15mins....run the car for 10 minutes to dry it on and WAH LAH...ur engine bay will look sexy like the above pictures....

I never realized how clean your car was. I really like the view from the front.

If you need to E-Cry with someone. I'm here. I am in the process of parting my first car that I spent lots of time and money on. I didnt even get to see her in final action. So, hey, you're not alone buddy!!

KwikR6

Well the thing is. It's all good. Your going to be a graduate and making money. Why not spend a little more and get something a little newer.

ChrisCantSkate

thgats true... right now im thinking on my current budjet and what i can afford. once i start making a steady paycheck more and more options will open. although im thinking of opening a bar/pizza shop instead of going with the traditional 9-5 job, so i may end up getting a pickup or something like that if i do that route, untill i can afford my porsche of course

KwikR6
03-13-2006, 10:48 AM
Exactly dude. And the pizza/bar shop. Would be off the hook. It's a great idea.

ChrisCantSkate
03-13-2006, 10:58 AM
well the thing is i dont wana be "copying" or ripping off any of the bars i goto around here but theres one in particular that serves 15 inch slices of pizza and a pint of PBR for $3.50. you cannot beat that anywhere in town. its more expensive to be that full at a fast food place plus you get a beer with it. the problem is, from 6pm till 1am there is a line almost to the door every night and they need to double the size of the place to get everyone a seat. they still hammer out the pizza and with a whole wall of beer taps and 1 liter mugs... you cna see why i frequent it.

now my idea was to keep the excelent beer selection (10 tap minimum) and a frige full of exotics, serve extremely good "fast" food, as in pizza, subs(i want to concentrate on subs i think, use good quality meats and make it a step above the other sub shops around), appitizers(we were gonna make "the snack bar" and serve just finger food but do it a la carte so you can order 2 wings 3 cheese sticks 1 chicken finger etc and make a badass snackfood basket, but ideas expand) etc, get a nice location near a real bar(on that serves liquor and the whole nine yards) since i goto more places based on proximity to the bar(walking distance) and at random times of the night. im looking now for a good location, and i have to find a good load where i can realistically get this up and going.

Want a partner for this venture? hah
I've thought of doing that before. We looked into a few places around the city here and got some good locations.

I've always thought about opening a laundromat that served alcohol. Most of the people who go to laundromats are young singles anyway...why not help nature along?:D

The name for such an establishment? "The Pink Sock". If you don't get the joke, I'm not explaining it.:D
