well I got board, and put the d16a6 back together(blew the head gasket, and finally fixed it) well I had been driving the car around for a week, and then it started acting up agian (fuel problems) so I replaced the fuel pump(was original) and then tryed to start it, and the next thing I know I hear a loud BOOM and am like Fuck what know. Come to find out, the problem I had with the fuel were actually because the rubber piece on the intake(ebay special CAI, and the rubber piece is the one the goes from the tube onto the throttle body, It was craked) well I pop the hood and noticed the the tube wasn't connected, and when i checked again there was actually a piece missing, and was sent into the engine........
long story short, threw a rod right through the block, all becuae some asshole buddy of mine tightened the clamp down to far.
THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!

Holy shit dude...some of my friends have given my car problems, but NONE of them ever cost me an engine. I'm with Pat...tell him he owns you a new engine or beat it out of him.

well the thing is, we were going to make this a track car, so he is going to donate the engine (b16a2) but of course it is a waiting game, cause he says he doesn't have the money, so he is letting me borrow his car (95 eclipse, boosted to 12lbs. I hate the fucking car it sucks)

well they suprised me while I was at work, all my friends chipped in and so did my parents, once i get a camera i will post pics:
D16y7
(aftermarket internals, not sure what they are)
Turbo
intercooler
and other stuff, not to sure on exact specs because they had a shop build it, and were going to suprise me once I graduated(2 weeks and I will have an a.a.s. in culinary arts, with a B.S. in Hospitality Management) so over the next 2 days, we will be installing the engine(its all complete just have to do some fab work on the intercooler and gauge installs (egt, a/f, oil temp, and oil pressure) and then its off to the shop again and they are going to tune and i will let you guys no how Chrome works,( because the shop that is doing the work on tuning specializes in it because its free) so untill wednesday I will driving the worse car ever, I mean I dont understand the hype of DSM's they suck ass, and I just hope my install will be a hell of a lot better than this fucking eclipse im driving.

well we ran into a snag, and installation is going to wait (friend was drunk off his ass, and tripped over the jack and landed in the hospital, and he is the one that knows what he is doing with the swap)
oh and the motor was built for boost, it is just i don't know what is in it, and i guess im either too lazy or just don't really care, as long as it is fast, and reliable

i certainly hope he wasn't drunk while he was working on the car, doesn't make for a reliable car "what're these extra pieces? ahhhh stage 1 weight reduction" yea we've done that.

That's shitty man, but then again, that's very respectable of them and your parents to do the second half for you. I knew someone that put his head gasket on backwards while building/swapping an lsvtec. Hahahaha man that was great.
