I've had a similar problem since my CiViC was new.
Sometimes, one injector or another will stick on me, dumping raw gas down the cylinder, instead of spraying. Every time this has happened, it's ALWAYS been when I first start my car. If you don't catch it, right off the bat, and shut the engine off within a few seconds, it will foul the plug and trigger a CEL. If you DO catch it fast enough, tapping on the injectors a few times, with a screwdriver handle, or whatever, fixes the problem, and you're on your way...
I know this sounds ghetto as hell, but that's my story, and I'm 'sticking' to it... :bandit:
