Well, my diet has been working. A few weeks ago I got kinda sick and wasn't able to workout or really eat well, dropped like 10 pounds to right under 140 (fuckin little, I know)... after I got better I started hitting the gym again and got back on my diet and I weighed myself today at the gym to the tune of 148.5lbs. Not bad to gain back 10 pounds in 3 weeks and maintain a bodyfat of under 8%. Nobody probably cares, but posting it makes it feel like an accomplishment and is motivation to continue. Hopefully I can get up to 160 before going to the beaches of Greece for a few weeks this summer. :yup:

Nice. I've been losing weight lately. Don't know if it's my meds or if it's because I started eating a little better. Maybe both.
I've got family in Greece...they can hook you up once you get there.:D j/k...they're all old.

Odieseus and Evmorphia (no idea if I spelled those right) are the shit. Goofy as hell which rules when people get older. They were trying to teach me Greek the whole time I was there...didn't take too well.:D
If you get a chance Wren, hop over to Santorini. Fuckin' awesome place to just chill (decent night life, too if you can put up with eurotrash).

I started working out again in January. I haven't really been doing much with my diet though. I know I'm gaining muscle and my weight is staying about the same, so I'm happy. I'll probably start losing some once it starts to get warmer.

My guess is you lost water weight, you're talking about a 10lbs swing and that doesnt happen over night unless its fat.

Actually it can. Depending on the body type. I've been working out for the past 3 years straight. And I'm almost at my choice weight. I've got 18 more pounds to gain. Weight can fluctuate espically when your sick. I've noticed mine did. And espically since it was when I was sick as hell and couldn't workout.
But congrats wren. I know what its like when you lose a ton of weight and you have no choice. And it's hard as hell working back up to it.

congrats
I need to lose about 20lbs, I'm hoping a few hours of mountain biking a week will help. Or maybe I should just get sick for a little bit.

i was 140ish at the begining of college, i try to run or play bastetball/football at least 4 times a week, and i ride my bike to school and work (2 miles and 5 miles respectivly) right now im at roughly 150 after a long run and can be up at 155-160 if i have all my water in me.(3.5 years later) i'd like maybe another 10-15 lbs in my upper body but i dont really goto the gym so probobly not gonna happen. its really not THAT hard to stay healthy though, i eat pretty much anything i want whenever i want, but i make sure that i balance it all out and burn off whatever i eat. the biggest thing i started doing was making my own food whenever i can. even though i still eat fast food 2-7 times a week(im in college gimmi a break). i havnt done a body fat index in a while but it was around 6 or 7% last time i checked. i'd be real supprised if its any different now condisering im in better shape than when i did that
