Just got this CD today. Kept seeing every where I turned and when I heard that he was from the Okayplayer ring and had a track w/ Talib Kweli I caved and bought it.

The whole CD is filled with bytes, new and old, from Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, spliced into the songs (Space Ghost, ATHF, Brak, Perfect Hair Forever, Harvey Birdman) and lots of references to other Hanna-Barbara cartoons (Jetsons, Scooby Doo, etc). There is an entire track w/ ATHF on it, another with the Mooninites...meatwad cant rap :D

Doom isnt exactly one of the best lyricists that Ive heard, which surprises me that he's in Okayplayer, but the beats more than make up for this (seriously, the beats are badass). It seems that all of his rhymes are deliberate, and never take you by surprise; they seem to just thud around the tracks like a dancing elephant.

If one could find an instrumental version of this cd, it would be perfect for lazy freestyles for starters or OG's
