Glad to see harper in the lead, though not really in power. It will do Canada good to have a leader that is more inline with US policies and to lower our taxes.

I was in Windsor once...
Then another time, I drove from Detroit to Buffalo, via Canada. It was very flat, very bleak, very grey

Diamonds? Probably not. If that were true, we'd give two shits about west Africa. Diamonds aren't nearly as rare as we're lead to believe. They're pretty and shiny and chances are if you give one to a girl you'll get laid. Gold...well...it's not nearly as valuable as it used to be. Practical uses for gold...see: diamonds

He is new to power. He'll get use it and fit right in.
I voted for his party and he better mend our relationships with the USA. We're eachothers larges trading partners.

So true.
As far as it goes. I laughed when he shook his childrens hands.
I hope that Canada and USA relations are improved.

A good gauge for U.S. relations with any country is whether or not we're bombing you (a.k.a "spreading freedom"). If we're not bombing you, it's reasonable to assume we're not pissed at you...yet.

Yeah but apparently our new "leader" has a friendship with bush....so we'll see....he'll bomb us anyway.
