Well the civic will only see vaccuum for a while, as i took off the turbo today. Basically i took it off for emisions but it'll give me a chance to change my exhaust around a bit since i want to add some more flex to my DP, fix an exhaust leak, and add my 3" cat.

took me about 3 hours to change everything which wasn't too bad. Then i welded the stock exhaust pipe to an adaptor plate and bolted it up to my 3" muffler:crazy: heh, it sounds pretty cool, and i even have the stock airbox in! so now i should be guaranteed to pass emissions once i get some new O2 sensors since mine are fucked. I'll post some pics of my downpipe later tonight, thing is crazy looking.

the thing that pisses me off is how if you have an antique (25 yrs or older in mass i believe, and for most other states), the your car is emissions exempt. WTF, those are the cars that pollute the most. Honestly how many new cars are going to fail emissions? Maybe like 1 or 2 with a defective cat, and they'll still be cleaner than any "antique" car, which, usually consists of mustang fastbacks which are spewing black smoke out the ass. Kinda pisses me off although it is good if you're into cars. Kinda makes me wanna fix up my dad's corvette that he left me heh.

oh well, at least it's only every 2 years for me, and let me tell you how slow my car feels stock  stock airbox, stock manifold, cat, mid pipe, and then it's bolted up to the 3" muffler heh. oh well, the revised setup will be sweet...

can't wait to fix this cluster fuck of pipe. Plus having the dump dupe plumbed into the Downpipe with plumbing from home depot (don't knock it, the whole turbo project came from HD ) was causing my boost levels to be inconsestent. So now i'll be able to mock it all up while it's out of the car. So hopefully it won't look like some new-age piece of art
