taking wires out of a connector

Anyone know a easy way of doing this? I searched and can't find an answer.

I have a connector that I need pulled off a set of wires. I released the little clip thing that holds them in place, but they will not pull out, then tried pushign them out with a small flat head, still stuck in there.

theres probably a tab on the connector that needs to be pressed also

on the ends of the wires, I mean, theres sometimes a little tab that holds on...if I had one Id show you
