in general anything that promotes communication is a better date, I never liked the movie idea because you don't talk much.

Yo... Skip the date... instead of asking them on a date and then having to think of something to do to entertain them enough to let you in their pants... just ask them if they want to hang out at your house/apt... that way most of them off the bat will know what you're asking so if they say yes you know you're already in... the other half will think it's weird and either say no (cuz they think you're trying to get in their pants) or they'll say yes cuz they're into you and don't care that you asked them to do something weird... which means YOU'RE IN...

I don't know out to eat is always good if the resturant is good... it can turn into a nightmare though... but that's the same for anything...

It's always worked for me that we end up at victoria secret stores. She ends up trying on clothing and I find out what she looks like in next to nothing, on the first date. Shoppings what you make of it.

I personally found since you often dont know alot about eachother, and the usual first & second date convo's are all BS where girls try to 'selling themselves' to you, you might as well skip that and have some fun. General idea for me on dates was to do stuff we could enjoy and talk about later.

Not like any of this matters. Like the old saying goes, most girls will decide within 5 minutes of meeting you if they'll sleep with you or not. Just do whatever you enjoy and if she's into it too then you're gold. If not, it's time to move along and find a chick who's into the same stuff you are. It really is just that simple.

i godda agree with rob here on this one. as much as i hate shopping, as long as you dont get sucked into one of her wierd stores, then usually it ends well, and besides, on a first date yournot expected to buy her a bunch of shit at the stores she shops at, buy her lunch in the food court, you'll get into sears or something at some point so you can fuck around with the TVs or in the tool section to kinda balance things out. besides ythen in the future you know where she shops and what she wants, 2 more things to get you out of a jam when you need to buy her somehting

I took my wife to a hockey game for her birthday. :D
