In buildings, its maybe 1/3 of that, but really...how far are you going to be from your car? I can turn my alarm on/off from any lot while I sit in school, which means that it will page me if it goes off
The newer designs dont go as far

im getting the viper 771vx. it has a two pager that is good up to a half mile radius.

well if you are too far the alarm is worthless, because the thieves might be gone till you reach your car.

Sad thing is most people dont even pay attention. I wish my alarm screamed "FIRE FIRE HELP" or "F*CK ME BABY OH YEAH!"

i got a cheap viper, just a noise maker basically to hopefully stop another break in:mad:
