I just finished my car about 2 months ago, have had many problems including cracking my oil pan and having my oil sensor break off the back of the block but all in all it hasn't been too
bad..I'm pretty new to the whole turbo thing so I wasn't expecting to run 11's my first time ever at the track but I didn't expect this either..I was at 10 psi for all 3 runs and i was driving on 20 inch hoosier full slicks which didn't help much because I kept spinning them from 1st thru 3rd gear..
1st run-
Temp. F- 37
R/T- .353
60'- 2.581
1/4- 14.253
mph- 107.31
2nd run-
R/T- .197
60'- 2.275
1/4- 14.010
mph- 104.33
3rd run-
R/T- .202
60'- 2.467
1/4- 13.952
mph- 103.75

It looks like you have traction problems........

not sure but i was doing it..
I don't know what my problem is, judging by the 60ft. times i was having traction problems which means i need to work on my launch..i was launching at 5800 with the 2 step..maybe i need to lower it or make it higher? any suggestions..

temp seems cold, did you heat them up good? What's you're setup? 60-foot times could use improvement, so must be traction cause you got decent trap speeds.

setup is b16 head, gsr cams, skunk2 valve springs and retainers, victor x i/m, bbk 70mm t/b, g/e fuel rail, 750cc rc injectors, aeromotive fpr
ls block, je 9:0:1 pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings
gsr tranny, competition clutch stage 4 kit and act prolite flywheel
turbo setup- sc61, neukin e/m, 3 inch downpipe, 2.5 inch i/c piping, spearco i/c, turbonetics boost controller, tial 38mm wastegate, greddy type s bov
suspension- kyb agx shock, ground control coilovers, z10 traction bars
I am going to the track on sunday but hopefully with 24.5 inch slicks so if i do i will let you guys know what happens..

with that build and that turbo, shouldn't you be running higher boost?
with slicks, i'd expect your 60' to be 2 seconds or under.

What's your launching strategy? Your best bet, is probably to slip the clutch from 3500-4000 and go about 50-60 percent in first gear, then second gear go 75, gradually up to wide open at whatever you choose to rev your car up to, then shift to third and pound it. If you start out with the tires spinning, you'll never regain traction, it's like a downward spiral.....the reason you'll be able to go wot in third using this method is because you'll be going faster and breaking the tires loose won't be so easy at a higher speed. Just make sure not to break them loose, it doesnt matter that your not executing the power you have. You should be trapping like 110+ with those mods.
I have the agx struts too. Adjust the rears to 8 and the fronts to 1 or 2. The reason for this is obviously, please don't argue against the physics behind it.

I only had the car dyno tuned up to 12 psi for now and I was running at the track on 20/7.5/13 inch slicks which obviously didn't help out much..i need to buy bigger slicks and practice..:|

When I launched i would just dump the clutch and kept feathering the gas and threw the car into 2nd gear and went WOT from there which is probably why i caught no traction but it was my first time racing the car so i wasn't sure on what to do..I think your right about launching and not going WOT on 1st and 2nd gear which is what i will try doing once the track opens up again in febuary..My agx shocks were set on 3 all around, i forgot to change them before i ran..thanks for the info/help..
