Mods: I hope this is in the right forum, if not, please move to the correct one. Thanks.

We-Todd-Did-Racing.com is sponsoring the first We-Todd Expo event at CMP in Kershaw, South Carolina. This event will take place on November 19th and the 20th with 4 different classes. Beginners and Intermediate groups will be provided an instructor untill the instructor believes they are able to handle the car/track by them selves. Also a class will be provided to beginners on the first day.

This is a High Performance Drivers Event, so no open passing. You must point to let the person behind you pass, this allows us to run a safe event and allows you, the driver, to not have to worry about somebody coming inside of you in a corner.

All cars are welcome, however they must past tech inspect. No limitation on tires, unless you have a vert. Then you can't run R compound tires unless you have roll protection.

The price is $295 for driver and will become $345 after 11/4

I don't think I'd drive there if I lived in Kershaw, nevermind Maine

I don't think it's the attitudes.....It's just that...I'm from Canada...and I'm a paramedic student...so the cash is a little low, so I probabaly won't make it.

Also, message boards are usually pretty tightly knit among their active members. I don't know anyone who's active in WTDR to my knowledge, so I have little to no incentive to drive around 900 miles to an event I probably wouldn't be able to participate in anyway. Besides, you already made a post over in the locations forum about this exact same event (which is where it belongs). If no one was interested then, why double post?

when are you going to come out to buttonwillow?
i don't think its bad attitude as much as very few people here track their cars. like if i could i might go to expo 6 because i feel its a bigger event, but not cross country for this.

I'll come out to ButtonWillow when I have time and money and when the East coast runs out of track :D But one day I plan on hitting that and Laguna too

This event will be close to ITR Expo, most of the people from there will be here and some are running it.
Would I drive 900 miles to go, Yes and I'm actually going to Sarasota first then to SC from NYC...
