So I just had fall break and I spent 5 days up in Kansas City. For some reason EVERY time I go up there I get eaten alive by fucking mosquitos. I literally have something like 20 bites on my legs...almost all of them around my ankles right where my socks are so every time I move my socks rub against them and they itch. The shower's even worse. It's like all of them itching all at once. Fuck. Anyone know how to make these bastards not itch?

they make some shit up here in iowa to cure it but i forgot the name of it.

You can just get some diphenhydramine cream (benadryl, but go with the store brand since its significantly less $)
I use it on bites all the time (its what I get for living in the basement with spiders)

I've never seen worse mosquitos than in the Mississippi River Delta... swarms of them are easily visible...

I'd believe that. The south has to be hell with mosquitos. They were really bad when I was living in Texas...and those fuckers were huge. Texas also had those huge wood roaches that somehow learned how to fly seemingly out of spite just so they could scare the shit out of you. Oh man...I hate Texas.
