well my jdm b18 is in the mail as we speak, and i was wondering what do i have to do to it before i'll slap it in the car. do i need to clean anything out, take the oil out of the cylinders if it any.

to put a new B18B in his teg and sell it.
i would oil change it. they usually dont ship them any fluid. added weight to shipping charges.

i'd replace every gasket, fluid, pump, and belt I could. maybe even pull the head and replace valve seals/guides, and redo the valve seats and replace the head gasket.

fuck that. i got the engine because it was cheaper than doing all that crap to my b18a. all i want to do is have the car running for now

at least replace the timing belt/water pump/clutch, and belts!
