I've seen stuff about work on planes that would fly outside the earth's atmosphere that could convievably reach mach 18 since there's no wind resistance. Theoretically it could go from LA to NY in under an hour or something.

differences between this and the concord? well its a different design by different engineers, its gonna probobly be like the 747 and the airbus. both big commercial jet liners, just designed different and by a different company. and the concord was made in the late 60's, this is 40 years later. we have better technology

ItS JDM y0 Right Hand Joysticks

Exactly though...the concorde all got grounded because it was to expensive to fly them because they use WAY to much gas and arent economical.

The U2 planes that would fly so high you could see the actaul curvature of the earth the only problem there is that it would way to expensive because at those kinds of altitudes you have to wear a special suit because blood actually boils outside of that special suit would be cool though

if they could keep the interior of the whole plane at the right pressure it'd be doable, but they'd be f'd if they lost pressure.

Yea they couldnt do it to a plane carrying 1 person let alone 300 hundred people...besides that ONE test cost 100 MILLION dollars imagine what a ticket on that bastard would cost?
