I'm selling my 1998 Honda Prelude for a more family oriented vehicle.
* Original owner.
* 135k on the body.
*Engine has been replaced with a JDM H22A series 10.6:1 compression motor. Has about 50k on it.
* Cylinder head was completely rebuilt.
* Brand new timing belts (will not need to be changed until 200k).
*The automatic SS transmission has been swapped out using ALL OEM parts, so the car is now a 5 speed.
* Car is in excellent shape, and everything works.
* Currently has Rotora slotted rotors and Axxis pads.
* JVC MP3 / CD Player in place of the stock CD/Radio.
* Carbon Fiber Trim
* Indiglo type (but not tacky) instrument face plate for the gauges w/ OEM JDM carbon fiber type bezel.
* Catz MSX Fog Lights mounted on each side of the front license plate, and in perfect working condition.
* OEM JDM Red H22A series valve cover.
* Random Technology Stainless Steel High Flow Catalytic Converter. (2k on it.)
* OEM Honda Alarm System w/ Remote Entry.
* 3 Complete sets of keys and alarm remotes.
* Unlike many H22Ax series engines, this one does not burn a drop of oil between changes.
I'm located in Morristown, New Jersey, and I tend to think this is a good car for someone who's a Prelude enthusiast. Basically, my wife put her foot down after my last escapade with the car (rebuilding the head) and told me we need to consider a better car for when out first born arrives.
So far as I can tell there isn't a blessed thing wrong with the car.
When the engine was replaced, which I did myself with the help of an ASE certified master mechanic and a few friends, ALL of the engine seals were replaced, along with the battery cables and ANYTHING that was even remotely worn. ...All with Honda OEM parts.
Full pictures of the car can be found here (these are LARGE 4MP images):

I'm asking $6000.00 FIRM for that car.
