w00t i have a home for me in santa Barbara. sent deposit money to owner.
room is 10'3 x 11'2 w/ closet
private bath
private entrance
this is 1 out 8 rooms rented to students of my school.
$750 includes utilities, highspeed internet, tv cable, and shared kitchen
and fully furnished
and its a block away from State Street!

$750 a month? not too bad for a single, im paying $720 rent, 100 cable/internet, ~$60-$80 a month electric. but its all split 2 ways.

Damn...FL and CA are expensive places to live. Here at school I share a 2 bed/2 bath duplex for $425/month plus ~$100 for cable TV/computer and ~$50 for the phone.

damn, mine now is a hell of alot cheaper than my last place. i thought i had a great deal since my last place was $2200(550 a person) split 4 ways for a 4/4 apt in a sudent housing type place.

Got the Yakima roof rack on the way, got jury duty the 21st, going to Maryland for medical research saturday, sunday, and monday, doctors appointment on the 16th for this gawt damn planters wart on my foot (motherfucker).
then I'm set to leave :-D

sounds like a good deal but damn thats expensive! Here in tuscaloosa we rent a 3 bed/2 bath house that is around 1600ft2 for $1000 a month + around $300 for other costs. Split three ways it is really cheap... that and my room is 16'x14'... ;)

santa barbara is one of the highest costs for living in the country ;-)
a house like yours at SB is easily 2-4 grand a month:smoking:
