Well its not that bad, decent engine and nice interior (minus the steering wheel and speedo).

At first glance, it reminded me of an accord. Now that I look at the rear, it reminds me of an Altima.
The seats are hot. 5 lug is neat but the wheels are ugly. LSD is nice.
Not something I would buy though. Not something I would "ooh" and "ahh" over given the exception of the first impression in person.

Pics look good...rims...aren't that nice...it'll look good once someone slams it and puts some nice wheels on it. I'll make more of an opinion once I see one in real life.

I will belive it when I can look at it in the dealer....probably just a prototype.....
nope, thats it man. www.honda.com to see for yourself.
I think they look pretty nice, and if you don't like the wheels they do have others to choose from.

Yea I like how they modeled the body curves and lines after the Accord and RSX..and of course the sexy TL headunits.
I'm actually considering this SI as my next vehicle, after my LS. But once again, I cannot stand the speedo, its so dam ugly :pukey .

I'd just prefer the regular gauges instead of that.. the digital doesn't bother me, just the placement. and it's awkward to see one gauge down there

And redline 7000 for VTEC...whats up with that? I belive the RSX-S with the similar K20 unit goes up to 8000. And I believe the EP3 only goes to 7000 also  .

The guages remind me of something you may find on a bike, I like them.
I personally am digging the new look. I'm happy to see the sharp Acura style lines!

It looks Great, a big step up for a coupe model civic. The 01-05 Civic Sedan and Coupe seemed too bulky... I liked the EPs I thought they were pretty cool, especially for a tuner car.
All and all though I think Honda is getting away from being a civic and making it something its not. Mainly because of all the new features inside and out. Also I can't see this car being priced the same as the old 02-05 SI, but I could be wrong.

the si without navi will be under $20k, and the navi will be a standalone option for less than 2 large. I think the gauge design is a bit different but i cannot say if i hate it or love it. Ohh the 80th generation civic is out september 15th and the si november 1st.

I don't hate it either. I just don't think it looks like a civic anymore.

Given what the last generation looked like, IMO thats a GOOD thing.

Between the 92-95's and the 96-00....there was a huge change..and people liked them. The 01-05's were different as well...and these are different too.....I think it still looks good...in fact..I'm actually thinking of buying one come springtime.

Like I said the 01-05 I think looked like ass with the exception of the SI... The new 8th gen civic is a huge improvement in my opinion.
