People are idiots.. They were probably talking on a reading the paper or something to the affect and not paying attention. It happens all of the time.

From the angle, and the way the cop turned, Im going to say she was spinning or sliding before it happened

Here's how I think it went down:

Woman talking on cell phone about her alimony settlement and/or smacking around a couple of dipshit kids in the back seat. At the last second, idiot slattern notices she's about to rearend a cop, swerves, over-corrects in the other direction, and tags him at roughly a 45 degree angle. She now laments having sand in her vagina. The end.

It's to bad the cop wasn't ok and didn't shoot her in the face.
The end.

wow..i hate seeing those kind of videos when a cop just doign his job becomes a victim....the worst part is just watching him squirm around in pain..i watched a video a while back when a cop goes to the window of car and you see a gunshot, the cop goes down, and the last 3 minutes of the video is of the cop calling for backup "officer down", squirming around and crying, then watched him die....;(

Yeah, women shouldn't be allowed to attemp to multi task while driving. :paranoid:

Seriously though, what a sad ending for the cop and his family.

And that's why I think driving while talking on a cell phone should be illegal..or smoking..or anything for that matter...drive your fucking car...do your shit elsewhere.

Now now...leave nicotine out of this.:D If you can't smoke and drive simultaneously, smoking isn't your problem. Stupid is you problem. Cigarettes have helped me avoid numerous counts of attempted vehicular manslaughter.

But yeah...talking on your phone while driving just isn't good. I've done it once or twice, and I don't trust myself to do it anymore.

Rest assured, she's the reason your insurance is so high. At least she wasn't putting on make up while driving. When I see a woman doing that it drives me insane.

I agree with Derek. You shouldn't do anything but DRIVE when your driving. Honestly, some people are a lot better at it then others. However, I've been stuck behind people that really need to just pull the fvck over and finish what the hell they are doing.

Then again, I've seen people that are just driving that still can't drive for shit.

I only answer my cell phone if it's important or what not while I'm driving.. If it's someone that can wait I just call them back when I'm done driving

I work with a gurl that has taken 3 cars...turned them into total losses...written them off...all three of them were her fault...talking on cell phones...and make up...

Don't some states already have a law stating that the use of cellular phones are prohibited while driving? I thought that's why Bluetooth is so popular now but that's only to find out that those users are now adding something else to their active list like putting make-up on or playing with a palm pilot.

I admit, I do talk on the phone while driving.

That's why I'm so pissed at Verizon. My phone is fully bluetooth capable but I'd have to do a seem hack to gain access to Obex. I wouldn't use it to drive, but it'd be nice to have a fully functional phone.
