blew my door speakers. i want to get Alpine Type-R 6 1/2s. i dont want to buy ebay. so where can i find a good repitable place that sells them cheap? i guess i could check pricegrabber.
oh and good news its only 100 bucks to get my 6x9s custom fitted into my rear deck. next pay check theyll be installed.

Personally, I dont think the type r's were that great (I had them). I traded them for a new pair of the step down models and $30 and am happier (because I made $30). Sound is the same if you ask me

Hit up a store that sells both and listen to them. I really cant tell the difference (when its really loud, I kinda can...but I listen to mine quietly).

Find the Freq range that you need and wattage and purchase from that info.
I used the Pioneer Premier line and have had great success with them for the past 6.5 years.

i bought alpine type-s speakers in the doors and i custom fit 6x9 alpine type-r in the rear deck.
