I dont know if this is a repost guys, But anyhow, here goes:

A month or so ago honda Announced the LAST nsx has rolled off the assembly line... There WILL be a sucessor. Rumored to look like this.

This Picture Has been a possible photochop of a cadilac, but If this is whats in store, It will be badass.

http://www.autospies.com/images/7-14-05/nsx/1.JPG

The KICKER is: IT WILL BE V10 POWERED

http://world.honda.com/news/2005/c050720_a.html Down to the bottom where is says NSX sucessor.

Incase your lazy:

< NSX successor >
We are now focused on the development of a new model to succeed the NSX for a new era. We would like to debut a new super sports car equipped with a V10 engine in 3 to 4 years. Please look forward to seeing the NSX successor.

Rumor source says it Should be expecting over 500HP.

Will This destroy Competition for supercars in the 100k range? We will see in a couple years...

It better have the power to back up the price tag unlike the NSX did.

The NSX wasn't about having power. The car was made to be driven. The NSX will out drive almost every other car ever made.

the nsx handle 10xs better then most super cars.

how in hell are they gonna have a v10 when they don't have a v8 yet ???? i think it's against their religion or something

I'll reserve my enthusiasm for when/if it comes out. Honda doesn't exactly have a reputation for big hp factory offerings, so you'll forgive my scepticism. The NSX was a handler, but I'd put money down that most of the other "supercars" out there would've dusted it on a road track simply due to the fact that it was so underpowered. I mean c'mon...a max of 290hp for $90K? Spend 40 grand more (let's face it, if you can spare $90K for a car, you can spare$130K) and grab a 500+hp Ford GT that annihilated a fucking Modena.

And it DOES look like a photochopped Cien with an Enzo front end. I'd be disappointed if it came out looking like that. If you're going to ditch the NSX for another car, make sure the car LOOKS like another car.

I'll believe it when I see it.

If its a v10, its straight inline to compete w/ Toyota...er...Lexus' new supercar. Actually, the $100k price would be inline for it too...
SO its with those 2 similarities, that I doubt its reality

The nsx needs a new face lift (more than just a few panels), a new engine, a new chassis, AND a turbo:)

i bet they'll do a very small displacement, torqueless, high revving v10, probably similar to a formula car

the legend was a 6 cylinder. it does look a lot like a cien. the nsx is a great handling car but the base nsx gets murdered against other gt class cars. it wasn't until the type r was released did it really begin to shine.

i can't really classify a 90k car a supercar nowadays though.

90K is a cheap super car. when i think super i think 300K and above.

I forget which one it is but either the GT2 or GT3 runs a stock time of 11.2.... If that's not high end I don't know what is

Why would I want to spend double the money on something that performs the same? I'd take a Porsche over a Ferrari or Lambo any day. At work while I was out delivering I saw a Porsche Carrera 4S GT or something of that sort.. AWD porsche goodness.

ok, porsche makes nice cars. are yea happy. but i dont think porsche as a super car. to many people have them. if i can see 15 on any given day here in IOWA, then they are appearently not super car enough.

like i said before porsche is the poor mans super car.

maybe the lower end porsches but not the nicer porsches.

obviously it's not a super car like ferrari or lambo but they're still extremely fast cars.. it's part of VW so of course they have normal production cars unlike ferrari or lambo does.

Porsche isn't a part of vw!
however, skoda, bently, bugatti, SEAT, and Lamorghini are.

Granted the first porsche was a modified VW.
Porsche's are some of the best cars out IMO. the only ones you see around all the time are the boxters or just old beat down ones.

actually porche is part of the volskwagen ag (althou they do not share too many components like gm does). if you need proof look at the touareg and cayenes(same car almost).

I wouldn't refer to most Porsche models as "supercars", but they are far and away better than 98% of anything to come out of the U.S. or Japan. Even during the dark days of cars (i.e. mid-'70s to early '80s during the oil embargo) Porsche was still cranking out some high quality stuff compared to everything else on the road. Who cares if you see them all the time? I think that's a testament to making a top quality product that regular folks can afford rather than a turn-off. By that logic, if you were to roll your eyes every time you saw a Prelude or Civic, why on earth would you own one? Does the fact that they're terribly common make them worse? I'm not even a real fan of Porsche as a whole, but I can definitely respect any company who has so consistently made a great driver's car.

you'd think but:
http://www.volkswagen.com/vwcms_publish/vwcms/master_public/international_portal/en/home/company/konzern.html

by that logic you could say isuzu is part of Honda because the older Honda Suv's were just repackaged isuzu's, i think companies do that junk all the time. didn't toyota have a cavalier thing in Japan?
