Ok...so my mom decided earlier this week to get cable installed. The whole 9 yards...cable TV, internet, and phone. Along with it came the most dangerous thing known to man...HBO iControl. So the last few nights I fucked around with it...I saw Anchorman (ho-hum), Club Dread (aweful), and a couple others. But tonight I saw the worst of them all (and I knew it would be)...Torque. First of all, a movie about crotch rockets should never be called "torque". I'm willing to bet that my 1984 Mustang's stock motor made more torque than any sport bike out there produced today. Then there was the whole thing about ripping on anything on 4 wheels. What the fuck? I mean...I knew the movie would be retarded from the word go, but if I'm gonna crash, I'd like a frame and some doors around me. Not to mention the action sequences were some of the worst I've EVER seen (and I've seen some bad movies) and the computer graphics were cheap and shameful. Even though the movie was free, I'm enraged that I actually wasted time watching this piece of shit F&F on sport bikes. Then again...I knew it would suck, so I guess I was just asking for it.

Yea I saw it too.. They make import racers out to be dicks in the beginning, and then pussies when the biker kicks the guys's ass.. so retarded... GEE A BIKE THAT WEIGHS LIKE 400 LBS WILL BEAT A CAR THAT WEIGHS 2500+?? NO WAY!11 and the end part where they're going like 200+ and fighting and weaving through traffic? i'd like to see someone do that in rreal life

It wasn't bad...but it was typical ex-SNL cast affair. It had some really funny stuff in it, but it was too few and far between. Will Ferrell is better than that.

I've seen Anchorman a few times and loved it/hated it about equal number of times... just depends on if I am able to turn my brain off for that 90 minutes or not.
As for Torque... what were you expecting, honestly? Previews looked like a joke, and once you've seen the biker gang in Memphis, TN (The Highrollers), nothing compares... not even in the movies...

Oh I knew it'd be bad...but not this bad. It made me wish for a copy of The Adventures Of Pluto Nash.

Man GT... Welcome to Yester-year.:D
Torque makes F&F and Biker Boys look real. It has to be the most far fetched movie I ever saw.. Did you see the scene where they were off roading the streetbikes? They had like dirtbike looking suspension under them.
I liked Club Dread.. Broken Lizard is awesome. :D

Well...I meant something similar in style. In Super Troopers the jokes seemed to flow better and seemed more natural. In Club Dread they seemed forced and just plain dumb (with a few exceptions).

For the record.... none of us bikers liked torque either. However.... in the movies defence, it was meant to be a "comic book style" movie. Its just that they did a very shitty job of it. Either way it was trashy.
