...A slim hand tap extension?
None of the shops around here will even let me borrow one and use it in the parking lot. They all say "We have to do it...insurance reasons" Crap-ola
I just need to retap my block for studs...
I dont see the sense in buying a $30 extension that I'll use once.
I'll pay for shipping out to me and send it back as soon as Im done! (tap is on special order - should arrive by end of the week)
PLEEAASE;) Im a stand-up guy

If I had one I'd sure let you use it, but considering I don't even know what you're talking about I'm no help..

Nah, the socket extension is too fat, and it doesnt clip onto the tap anyway. The tap extension has a fitting that pinches the tap, rather than a spring ball like sockets.

I'll look around. My uncle owns his own plumbing business (which includes roughly $250K worth of tools...it's a big business) so if I don't have on, he would probably lend me one.

WELL....Look what I made.
A: Tap
B: Screwdriver extension, drilled out w/ 1/4" bit to remove a couple corners
C: Screwdriver
I "pressed" the tap into the extension and threw in some jb weld for good measure. It doesnt spin out and the slight wobble it has should be gone when the jb weld hardens. (If not, I wont be using this).
It does work. It is straight. I wish I would have thought of this sooner...
