So I am trying to do some picture taking with my digital camera that I got. And i'm trying to do some cool action shots with bikes leaned over going around some corners and stuff and it just seems to be missing the shot or the bike or blurry. And the photos suck. Any advice?

i dont know a lot about photography, but if you can manually adjust the shutter speed (or digital equivelant) that should help with the blurryness. And a tripod will help a lot. Digital cameras take up to a second to take the picture depending on how it is set (at least mine does), and unless you have a REALLY steady hand, you'll get blurry pictures every time.

if you can manually adjust the shutter speed than you will want to adjust it to a higher setting. this way the shutter reacts faster..(in a film camera) less light is exposed and the leass time it takes for the image to burn. if you use a fast shutter speed you get results like this

when you use a slower shutter speed you get a result like this

I might just take my film camera....it's super sweet...my dad does a lot of photography and it's his...so i'll give it a whirle..and then just get the film put on cd....

I'll try playing with the digital camera also.
Thanks.

yeah you just want something you can adjust shutter speed.
digital will never be as good as film photos imo
when I get my photos developed I always get it on a cd, i never buy prints..costs me like 4 bucks a roll of film to get the cd
