Theres a chance I'll see it, if others are going...but its not on my "have to see" list.
It looks 10x better than what the older ones were like (minus the batmobile, which now sucks)

the joker killed bruce waynes parents and he had an accomplice with him..in this movie it was a single man...who may very well be the Joker..but I'm not sure
the bat mobile rocks i don't know what you're smoking, it actually has balls now and remember it's an early version of the bat mobile..simpler than the thing with wings and everything.
the thing i liked about it was it was much darker than the old ones..but that's imo

I didnt think it was joker who killed waynes parents. That would make him like 20yrs older than batman.
The new car just isnt the batmobile. Its a tank with crazy wheels instead of...you know...the batmobile.

Actually Devito was in the 2nd film with Michelle Pfiefer and Christopher Walken. I actually really liked the first Batman movie (the Michael Keaton movie, not the old school Adam West movie...although that one is pretty damn amusing). After that it was all downhill...especially when the batsuit received nipples and a bulging codpiece (doesn't get a whole lot more gay than that).
I don't really have any desire to see the new one...but who knows, I might. I'd like to see the backstory and all but man, does that new Batmobile blow. They need to put the franchise to rest but the only way to do that would be to kill Batman...which obviously can't happen since they're all into this prequel bullshit.

Hulk, Daredevil, and Spiderman all blew monumentously. Fantastic 4 might be ok...but only for Jessica Alba.

Batman Begins is an incredible movie! Tremendous acting all around, very believable storyline... really get a feel for all of the characters. Not to mention Bale's terrific job of being a dark actor (see American Psycho, Equilibrium, etc). Everything in the movie was logical, even the gadgets were explained as having military background... a MUST SEE!

I can't even hardly look at Christian Bale after seeing The Machinist. He lost so much fucking weight for that movie that he looked like a skin covered skeleton. It was so damn creepy. But yeah...American Psycho ruled. I just don't know if I'd like Bale as a good guy/crime fighter.

thats the thing that made it all the better..the fact that every weapon or vehicle had a background with military use..i mean hell it makes a lot more sense..thus the reason the batmobile originally being a ATV tank thats fast as fuck hah
just watch it Steve I'm pretty sure you'll find it entertaining at least

The thing is... he isn't really a "good guy" like you're thinking of. He's just really really pissed off and wants to f.ck some people up, so he does. Ever seen the movie Equilibrium?

Sadly, no. It was on my list a while back, but I sort of forgot about it. Maybe it's time to dredge the net to see if I can find a copy.

I'd heard that too. You also have to take into consideration the fact that people who aren't too bright probably thought the Matrix was Orwellian. Now...where's my copy of 1984? Doesn't get much more Orwellian than that.:D
