i just got a new sound card, and its playing all the windows soudns fine, i can play mp3s through windows media player, and i havnt found any other sound issues besides winamp... is there a setting somewhere in there to pick what sound card its trying to use? ive got 2 sets of speakers hooked upto it, one on the new card, one on the old, and nothing out of either from winamp.

im 99% sure its not a driver issue since it came with all the software and it checked its online site for new ones.

its this card (http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem.asp?ItemPos=2&TempID=3&STRID=231658&Method=3&CategoryID=875&BrandID=0&PriceRangeID=0&PageNum=0&DepartmentID=9&pagesize=10&SortMethod=3&SearchPhrase=&Contains=&Search_Type=SEARCH&GroupCode=nonetodaythanks) incase it helps

Try going to your preferences, under plugins click output.. then under that press on "DirectSound output etc. etc." and configure.. then under the tab "Device" it should say right at the very top what it's using as the sound device.. Select your new soundcard and you should be all set to go. if not try shutting off your onboard / old sound card through the control panel.. if you need help with doing it just lemme know
