I am looking for anyone parting out a b18a1. I need these two sensors at least:

camshaft position sensor
coolent temp sensor

...and probably more. My engine is quite incomplete as I'm coming to find out.
If you are located anywhere in central Illinois, PLEASE email me because I will likely be interested in picking up your whole engine.

Nevermind, just as a side note to anyone else looking for a camshaft position sensor, it is built into the distributor assembly. about 270 from acura.

yeah, most of the obd1 hondas have the crank pos sensor in the distributor. and i can get that to you cheaper by about $27

nah, this is an obd0 engine (at least, I'm using an obd0 ecu). I'm not 100% positive that a 91 teg had a camshaft pos. I need the whole distro assembly anyway, i just hope that a 91 teg is indeed obd0. There is so much contradiction on all these sites, I'm just gonna try one and see what happens.

Did you say you can get a whole oem distro assembly for 27$ less? If so, shoot me an email: b1ind34@gmail.com

all the 1989-91 were pre-obd1 or obd0, 92 to 96 they are obd1 and 96-99 they are obd2. from that i think they went to obd 2.5 or something like that

and i think a whole distributor assemby is in the $400 range at the dealership.

thanks for clearin that up. Yeah, the distributor assembly is in the upper 300 range, but the parts guy at Libertyville acura said he can get it to me for 277.

I still need to buy parts for this swap. It was going smooth until we realized we are missing a ton of stuff:

knock sensor - (does this engine even have one? and could the one from a d16a6 be used?)
tps sensor (missing, of course)
timing belt tensioner assy & spring
keyway for crankshaft (that little nub that turns the balancer)
harmonic balancer
injector seals (2 per injector)
oil cooler (apparently, this engine has an oil cooler fitting between the block and oil filter. Unfortunatly, we don't know if this was a stock option or aftermarket. But we'll have to find plumbing and a new cooler to make it work.)

If you can get any of that stuff, I'd be interested to know about it. Otherwise, it will be an autozone trip sometime this week.

transmission is coming on monday! w00t

yeah, i can get all that stuff. let me know the year of the engine so i can better guess the parts. you will get pretty much the whole order at10% off the dealer price and the free shipping. all of the parts are going tobe OEM also
